It was cold outside as we stepped out of her doorway.  She was right behind me, slowly closing to door so she wouldn't wake her dad who had passed out asleep on the chair infront of the tv.  I took a few steps forward so that I wasn't on the patio anymore, but on the soft grass of her front yard.  I rose my head towards the sky and glanced at the stars that lit the heavens.
   "Hey! Slow down already!" She said as the door was pulled shut.  I turned to her and smiled, she didn't know the stars were shining for her.  As she slowly came towards me, I knew the figure walking so nonchantly towards me was an angel.  Her beauty stopped my heart, and for a brief moment, I stood speechless.  
   She must have seen the look in my eyes, because as drew nearer, she illuminated the air around her with the most beautiful smile I have ever laid my eyes upon.  I could hardly believe that I was apart of this, it felt so much like a dream.  I prayed silently that I would never awake from it.
   She took my hand and held it.  I did the same, and as I held her hand, I was transported to another place.  A place with galaxies that threw stars into the heavens, a place that knew only happiness and bliss.  There was no sorrow, no sadness, no pain.  The world, for a few moments, was in perfect harmony.  As my eyes went to meet hers, everything around me slowly slid away and I was left with a sense of wonder - it was only her beauty in front of me.  Gone were the constraints of the world, the sound of cars was drowned out and the houses disappeared.  The birds stopped singing, the tv stopped playing, and the only sound I could hear in the beauty was " I love you.".  I held her close, and in a moment of perfect beauty, I slowly kissed her amazing lips.
   The world slowly drifted back in as she held me close.  The moment was over, but it would stay within me forever.
